He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lloyd and Janie Lloyd (Durham); and his nephew Cade Hertel. He is survived by: his daughters, Tessa Lloyd of Moore, Amber Lloyd of Great Bend and April Grandclair of Hoisington; his grandchildren, Tori Lloyd, Trayvon Gordan, Hadley and Lane Grandclair; his siblings, Vernon "Skip" Lloyd, Jr. (Debbie) of Spearville and Bev Hertel (Denny) of Dodge City; and his nieces and nephews, Shea Cook (Chris) of Oskaloosa, Cody Lloyd (Angela) of Borger, Travis Lloyd (Navie Morris) of Jacksonville, Florida, Caleb Hertel of Dodge City and Chance Hertel of Dodge City. He is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home (415 N Main St, Hoisington, KS 67544). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
