He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Overmiller and Myrtle Carlson Overmiller; his wife Joan Schoen; and his siblings, Ernest, Carroll Overmiller and Masel Fellows.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ann (Burke Phelps), Curtis Neil (Teri Overmiller) and Kristi Sue (Gayle Jones); his grandchildren, Raquel Phelps, Shawn Phelps, Alexis, John Kirn, Simone, Mark McMullen, Johnilen, Chad Gourley, Lucas, Rachel Jones, Hana and Seth Mach; his great grandchildren, Jaden Schachterle, Gracie Schachterle, Kaylen Gourley, Kenadee Gourley, Landon Gourley, Lily Mc Mullen, Korbin McMullen, Sunny Mach, Ford Mach, Bowen Mach, Lottie Mae Mach, Faber Jones, Kroy Jones and Faye Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Chris Brown and Matt Brown; and his stepgreat-grandson Paxton Brown.
Joan and him were founders of the Smith County Community Foundation.
