It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose M. Sears of Smith Center, Kansas, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Tompkins and Margarite Tompkins (Duer); her daughter Barbara Kuhlmann; and her brother Alvin Tompkins. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Sears of Smith Center; her daughters, Beverly Snavely (Clinton) of Smith Center and Colleen Bennett of Phillipsburg; her siblings, Ethel Belle Sears (Derald) of Smith Center, Vonda Tompkins of Osborne, Burl Tompkins (Judy) of Osborne and Edward Tompkins (Fontella) of Osborne; and her grandchildren, Autumn, Tony Kuhlmann (Wendy) of Salina and Justin Kuhlmann of Hays. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Church of the Nazarene, Smith Center, KS, and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
