William Long Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Long (Smith Center, Kansas), who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Long to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Long and Margaret Long (Cunningham); his siblings, Nola Bess, Warren, Robert and John; and his children, Nancy Long and John Long.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Long; his children, Mark Long of Smith Center and Lisa Long of St. Joseph, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Gina Long of Smith Center; and his grandchildren, Josh, Jess, Jake, Rebecca, Kaitlynne and Oona. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (400 US-36, Smith Center, KS 66967).
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Smith Center and can be sent in care of All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS.
