She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Eugene Briggs, Sr. and Virginia Briggs (Fox); her husband Arlis Dale Barker; her sister Eleanor Dietrich; her parents-in-law, Horace Dale Barker and Nina Elizabeth Barker; and her grandson Lance Michael Herrington.

She is survived by : her daughters, Dana Diann Merrifield (Leo) of South Haven, KS and Deborah Elaine Yunker (Richard) of Wellington, KS; her siblings, Kenneth Eugene Briggs, Jr. (Carla) of Des Moines, IA, Edgar Briggs (Revae) of Albuquerque, NM and Susan Elaine Brown (Kevin) of Goddard, KS.; her grandchildren, Adam Deland Herrington (Sarah), Ashley Nicole Clark of Haysville, KS, Virginia Lynn Buettgenbach (Cody), Nathen Yunker (Derbey) and Alex Michael Herrington of Wellington, KS.; and her great grandchildren, Makenna Swindler, Claire, Eli, Zoey, Ayden, Jace Buettgenbach, Braxton, Colson Yunker, Lance and Lainie Herrington.
