In loving memory of Jean Meyer of South Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Paola, Kansas, who departed this world on June 26, 2025 at the age of 72. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ebenezer and Nedra May Erskine (Davis). She is survived by: her husband Richard Meyer of St. John, Kansas.; her siblings, Barbara Thompson of Osawatomie, Linda Borders of Tonganoxie and Chuck Erskine of Lorraine, Kansas; and her stepsons, Alan Meyer of Haven and Gary Meyer of Johnstown, Colorado. She is also survived by the eight step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Journey Mennonite Church (808 S Poplar St, South Hutchinson, KS 67505).
In recognition of Krissy's steadfast companionship, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
