She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Loftis and Fila Loftis (Brown); her husband Paul E. Smith; her children, Bobby Smith, Dennis Smith, Howard Smith and Carlene Ward; her granddaughter Jennifer Ward; and her sisters, Mabel Smith and Virginia Casey.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chris Ward (Staci Hoffman) of Hutchinson, Megan White (Jacob) of South Hutchinson, Troy Smith (Jill) of Andover, Tandi Smith of Wichita, Scott Smith (Courtney) of Kingman, Jamie Smith of Hutchinson and Bucklin "Buck" Smith of Attica; and her children-in-law, Bret Ward (Rhonda) of Buhler, Richard Parsons (Judy) of Hutchinson and Anita Smith. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
