He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Mages and Lucille Mages (Schaffer); his wife Bernice Konda; and his brother Erwin Mages. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Mages, Karla Mages and Kelly Mages; his grandchildren, Addison and Ellaina Mages; his siblings, Cletus Mages, Lou Mages (Pat), Frank Mages (Barb), Pauline Kamphaus, Toni Aistrup, Carolyn Donovan (Mike) and Jeanette Green; and his sister-in-law Roberta Mages.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Southwind at Spearville or St. John the Baptist Church in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
