It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty May Currier of Spring Hill, Kansas, born in Scotia, California, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edna Jaques (Snyder) and Avalon Jaques; her husband Jim; her son David Currier; her granddaughter Stacie Dempsey; and her brothers, Morris Jaques, Donald Jaques and Lyle Jaques.
She is survived by : her daughter Dorothy Hendrickson (Harold) of Paola; her siblings, Donna Hamann of Redding, CA and Loren Jaques (Brenda) of Salzer, CA; her grandchildren, Abby Cavender (Danny), Cassy Osborn (Will), Scott Shappell-Fineout (Matt), Jim Shappell (Sarah), Gabriel Ross (Michelle) and CJ Dempsey; and her great grandchildren, Ali Shappell, Kyla Shappell, Coy Cavender, Cash Cavender, Amelia Osborn, Piper Osborn, Cyler Dempsey, Addison Dempsey, Nathan Heredia and Justin Heredia.
