We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 76, Cathleen Ann Murdock of Spring Hill, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Dewey" Duane VanDegrift and JoAnn Nell VanDegrift (Yeager); and her sisters, Becky Cayton, Candy VanDegrift and Staci Pickrell.

She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Murdock; her sons, Todd Dishon and Scott Dishon; her siblings, Kelly VanDegrift (Debi), Randy VanDegrift (Flo) and Jerry VanDegrift (Robin); her grandchildren, Jason Dishon, Kaetlyn Dishon, Taylor Murdock, Kale Murdock and Landon Murdock; and her close friend Elizabeth Haddad.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Feeding America.
