He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Neal and Margaret Joan McCarthy (Griffin); his wife Sherri Lynn Winters; and his sisters-in-law, Joan and Donna McCarthy.
He is survived by: his children, Luke McCarthy (Cassie), Clinton McCarthy (Lauren) and Sarah Carroll (Tyler); his siblings, Bob McCarthy (Melissa), Anita Lickteig (Dennis), Karen Curtin, Barb Kearney (Robert), Virginia, John McCarthy, David McCarthy and Jean Norris (Mike); and his grandchildren, Macie, Wade, Kinley, Emmit, Boyd, Noah and Camden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (555 W Main St, Gardner, KS 66030). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the St. Columbine Cemetery.
