She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Asa Defreece and Alma Defreece (Gibson); her husband Jon Strong; and her brothers, Bob and Bill Defreece.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Strong (Vicky) of Maryville, Sandy Shine (Alan) of Battlefield, Jon Strong (Julie) of Liberty, Greg Strong of Plattsburg and Dee Ann Talley (Ron) of Spring Hill, Kansas; and her siblings, Richard Defreece of Chicago, Illinois and Donna Simpson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
