It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ray Flanagan of Spring Hill, Kansas, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl B. Flanagan and Ruth Elnora Flanagan (Hadlund); his wife Virginia Peterson; his son Michael Flanagan; and his siblings, Robert Flanagan, John Flanagan, Lila L. Bunkey and Martha Pierce.

He is survived by : his daughter Terri Flanagan; and his grandsons, Mike D. Flanagan II and Evan O. Flanagan (Sarah). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
