He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Eugene and Jacklyn O. Whitman (Lane). He is survived by : his wife Georann G. Collins; his siblings, Robert Whitman Jr. and Tracy Evans; his nieces, Kendra Whitman, Kenzie Whitman, Danielle Kimerer and Brittany Masingale; his great-nephew Sawyer Masingale; and his great-nieces, Jacklyn and Eloise Kimerer.
