He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry James and Ann James (Kahanec); his wife Sandra Walker; his sister Janice; and his brother-in-law Frank Neumann.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Lyssa" Mascote (Cipriano) of Troy and Bill James (Joanne) of Spring Hill, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Nico Mascote, Tristen James and Miranda Rutter.
