He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth H. Mawhirter and Ardena Florence Mawhirter (Eidson); his siblings, Shirley Aumiller, Janice Willinger, Gary Mawhirter and Terry Mawhirter; and his grandson Brayden Eshleman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherre (Leist); his children, Mike Eshleman (Tammi) of Marionville, MO, Matt Eshleman (Donna) of Great Bend, KS, Justin Goodno (Janell) of Kiowa, KS, Mia Meschberger (Shane) of Stafford, KS and Jamie Kreutzer (Kevin) of Stafford, KS; his grandchildren, Brooke, Kyle Medlin, Dallas, Janet Eshleman, Kabin, Ashley Eubanks, Colby, Skylar Houlton, Ciera, Austin Raines, Janda, Jancey Goodno, Jace, Kynslea Kreutzer, Andy and Stacey Neeper; and his siblings, Judy Tanner, Deana Porter (Beuford) of Hutchinson, KS, Leanna Lutz of Wichita, KS and Randall Mawhirter (Val) of Verdigre, NE. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Minnis Chapel, St. John (526 E 4th Ave, St John, KS 67576).
