With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Schmidt (Stafford, Kansas), who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Larry had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Larry may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Schmidt and Leona Schmidt (Adams); his brother Gerald Schmidt; his siblings-in-law, Carole Schmidt and K. O. Fuller; his son-in-law Dave Taylor; and his grandsons, Cory Schmidt and Brandon Phelps.
He is survived by: his sister Nadine Fuller of McPherson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to honor Larry may be made to the Stafford Legion Riders in care of Minnis Chapel.
