She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Harmon and Reba Harmon (Thompson); her husband Steven Childs; and her brother Earl Harmon. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Childs of Wichita, KS and Christi Gilmore (Josh) of Sterling, KS; her siblings, Dean Harmon (Becky) of Sterling, KS, Maxine Cook (Gaylord), Vivian Thompson (Dan) of Gardner, KS and Sheila Clark of Wichita, KS; and her siblings-in-law, Stan Childs (Celine) of Bel Aire, MD and Cindy Fisher of Sterling, KS. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be given to Sterling American Legion Post #128 in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
