She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry; her daughter Diane Hickert; her daughter-in-law Shirley Hickert; her siblings, Luella Linnebur, Harold Boor and Marvin Boor; and her siblings-in-law, Leona Boor, Noreen Crabill, Patricia Stephens, Jerry Patterson, Wayne Linnebur, Quinten Hickert, Bernard Kaus, Verl Crabill, Gilbert Campbell, Louis Collins, Vic Goscha and Red Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Debra and Darrell Hickert of Oberlin; her siblings, Majella Hickert (Fred) of Hays, Jeannie Patterson of Seneca and Leon Boor (Mary Jo) of Abilene; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Boor of Hutchinson and Charlene Goscha of Wichita. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (723 N 1st St, Stockton, KS 67669). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the River Valley Church (120 S Spruce St, Stockton, KS 67669).
