He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Regina McDowell of Minden and Cindy McDowell of Stockton, Kansas; his sibling's children, Shawna Lockhorn of Minden, Shara Schurmann of Minden, Nebraska, Wade McDowell of Hill City, Niki McDowell of Leawood, Ed Thayer of Stockton and Cherie Garcia of Hays; and his cousin Sue Lesage of Stockton. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
