He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baptist and Esther Elizabeth Strutt (Worden); his siblings, Johnny Strutt and Inez Lorson; his nephew Doug Lorson; and his grandchildren, Eden Strutt and Austin Brookhouser.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Blakemarie Martinez (Josiah) of Homestead, Florida; his nephew Duke Lorson of Great Bend, KS; his nieces, Pamela Coleman (Jeff Dinkel) of Great Bend, KS and Virginia McCartney (Al) of Holyrood, Kansas.; and his stepchildren, Raymond Brookhouser of Plainville, KS, Corinna Sander (Mark) of Edgerton, KS, Gene (Rosanna) of Florida, Terry (Rehana) of Topeka, KS, Randy Brookhouser, Maria Plush (Justin) of Topeka, KS and June Brookhouser of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
