He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hlad and Mary Hlad (Vejl); his siblings, Ed Hlad and Geraldine Meyer; and his granddaughter Jenessa Hlad.
He is survived by: his sister Alene; his sons, Randall (Beth) of Sylvan Grove, KS and Steven (Kim) of Lincoln, KS; his wife Jane of Sylvan Grove, KS; and his daughters, Jean Michaelsen (Don) of Marshalltown, IA and Carol Langston (Scott) of Meriden, KS. He is also survived by sister Alene Thompson, VA, 15 grandchildren, and 28 (soon to be 29) great grandchildren.
