With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Steiner of Tampa, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Steiner and Anne Steiner (Reznicek). He is survived by: his wife Rita Silhan; his sons, John Steiner (Lisa) of Abilene, KS, Ron Steiner of Tampa, KS and Ken Steiner of Colorado Springs, CO.; his granddaughter Kirsten Horacek (Tom) of Simpson, KS; his great grandchildren, Tommy Lee, Adalyn and Lance Horacek; his stepgrandsons, Justin, Cody and Tyler Goding; and his siblings, Kathleen Oborny, Joyce Buckley, Barbara Rodriguez, Veronica Base (Jerry), Margaret Bailey and Ralph G. Steiner (Ida).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Father Kapaun Legacy Fund, or to St. Andrews Catholic School.
