He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustavie Grienke and Eaureva Grienke (Beautifish); his wife Virginia Creek; his children, Dan Grienke, Luwana High and Doug Creek; and his brother Bob Grienke.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Vannordstrand (Mike) of Tecumseh, Junior Grienke of Berryton, Dottie Mauer of Carbondale, Becky Hemphill of Carbondale, Verle Creek (Corkey) of Hoyt, Teresa Landrum of Wichita and Wendy Scott of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Shelbie Dubois, Michael Hemphill, Jr., Brandy Scroggins, Joe Mack and Misty Mack. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southeast Chapel (2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, KS 66605). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (30531 Snokomo Rd, Paxico, KS 66526).
