With sadness, we share the passing of Kelsey McKay of Tecumseh, Kansas. Kelsey, born on April 24, 1993, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Leon and Shirley Jones; and her aunt Tessa Whisenhunt. She is survived by: her parents, Wendy Taylor (Tommy) and Brian McKay; her grandparents, Ronnie and Beth McKay; her sons, Blake McKay and Liam McGuire; her siblings, Garrett Jones (Cassie) and Kirsten McKay; her stepsiblings, Corey Taylor (Ajay), Courtney Williamson (Cody) and Cody Goodlett; and her nieces and nephews, Brynnley Williamson, Linden Jones, Huntleigh Boyle Wolfe, Zairin Taylor, Wyatt Williamson, Wyatt Dodd and Garrison Dodd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
