He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Rissky and Ollie Rissky; his parents-in-law, Richard and Margaret Borders; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Ploof and Brenda Borders.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Michelle Rissky-Hughes (Wes) of Overland Park, KS, Kellie Neely (Matt) of Smithville, MO and Nicole Couture (Tim) of Draper, UT; his granddaughter Couture; his siblings, Patty Ploof, Barb Newman (Terry), Mike Rissky (Nancy) and Jim Rissky; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Borders Sr., Steve Borders (Karen) and John Borders (Traci). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
