She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Christenson and Ruth Christenson (Lane); her son-in-law John Spurgeon; and her siblings, Clyde Christenson, Alice Woody (Gerald) and Imogene Von Fange (Donald).
She is survived by: her husband Hal Berkley; her children, Karla Spurgeon, Karen Deckert (Scott), Jeff Berkley (Denise) and Calvin Berkley (Tina); her sister-in-law Alma Christenson; her grandchildren, Marika Taylor (Adam), Rebekah Berkley (Chris Contee), Brenna Bliven (Patrick), Rachel Berkley (Kyle Herbert), Sam Deckert (Katie), Patrick Spurgeon, Luke Deckert (April Woody), Collin Berkley (Katie) and Megan Berkley; her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Leyton, Harvey, Hadley, Roselyn, Finley, Ivy, Autumn, Elsie, Wesley, Archer and Hal; her stepgrandsons, Tyler Adams (Megan) and Dalton Baker (Starr); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cadience, Colt, Ashton, Brynleigh, Etta and Hollis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Tescott United Methodist Church or the Ottawa County Community Foundation and may be left in care of the funeral home.
