The passing of Richard Wayne Wrestler of Thayer, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 38. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Mikey Wrestler; and his grandparents, Glenn Wrestler Sr., Alta Barnett, Mildred Chisham and Lawrence Chisham.
He is survived by: his parents, Glenn Jr. Wrestler and Debra Wrestler (Chisham); his wife Dawn Wrestler (Bartholomew); and his siblings, Stacey Hinson of Rock Hill, SC, Dawn Bryant of Fort Scott, KS, John Erie Jr. of Carl Junction, MO, Anita Vaughn of Chanute, KS and Larry Wrestler of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wickham Family Funeral Home (500 N Forest Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Thayer Fire Department or Blessed Hope Bible Baptist Church and can be left with or mailed to the Wickham Family Funeral Home, 500 North Forest Ave, Chanute, Kansas.
