With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cathy Sue Starcher of Tonganoxie, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cathy left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Armstrong and Patricia Armstrong (Hassett); and her brother Douglas Coleman. She is survived by: her husband James Starcher; her children, Michael Starcher (Becky) of Minerva, OH and Nicole Hall (Shane); her siblings, David Coleman (Darla) of Burns, KS, Debra Alexander (Bob) and Kelli Brewer; and her grandchildren, Haley Janssen (Cameron) of Basehor, KS, Ashlyn Reid of Minerva, OH, Cassie Starcher of Minerva, OH and Caleb Starcher of Minerva, OH. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Family Home (18471 182nd St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in her name to Advent Health Cancer Institute, or the Lansing Care and Rehabilitation Center.
