She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey Schiffner and Mabel Schiffner (Lowry); and her husband Gene. She is survived by : her sons, Micthell Ray Ward, Mitch, Mitchell Ward and Scott Ward, Sr.; her grandchildren, Raymond, Scott Lee Jr., B. J. Ward, Ashley VanOmmerron, Brandon Ward and Michelle Ward Savage; and her great grandchildren, Avary, Carson, Gavriell, Randy, Vincent, Delaney and Guinevere Ward.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Lawrence Humane Society, Audio Reader (in Lawrence), Lawrence Theater, and the Tonganoxie Methodist Church.
