He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert D. Thomson and Merlyn B. Thomson. He is survived by : his former life partner Barbara Thomson; his adoptive children, Matthew Lee of Rolesville, NC and Katharine Amanda of Virginia Beach, VA; his wife Sherri L. Spade of Tonganoxie, KS.; his children, Matthew Lee (Karina) of Rolesville and Katharine Amanda of Virginia Beach, Virginia.; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Marie Wilson (Tyler Wilson) of Overland Park and Angela Renee Hanney (Chris Hanney) of Wichita, Kansas.; his grandsons, Walker Ray, Wren Marie Wilson of Overland Park, William James Hanney of Wichita, KS, Kai David and Koa Henry Thomson of Rolesville; his brother Scott Thomson; his sister-in-law Jennifer; his niece Marissa Taylor; and his nephews, Joshua Scott and Zachary James of Windermere, FL..
