He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Burns and Wilma Burns (Hall); his wife Darlene Burns; his former wife D. J. Burns; and his children, Nance Copeland of Browns Mills, NJ, Kevin McGuire of Blue Springs, MO, Jason Johnson (Michelle), David Rupp (Amanda) of Leavenworth, KS, Jessica Karten (Dave) of Perry, KS and Stacy Lister (Ryan). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Larry's name to the Fraternal Order of Police of your choice.
