With sadness, we share the passing of Alberta J. Harmer of Topeka, Kansas. Alberta, born on October 11, 1932, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Alberta for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hoffman and Elnora C. Hoffman (Blocker); her husband Paul Harmer; her grandson Joshua Harmer; and her sister Geraldine Hoffman.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Rowland (Deena) of Topeka and Jon Harmer (Dianna) of Topeka. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (100 Apache Dr, Hoyt, KS 66440).
