He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Augustus and Elizabeth Alaine French Watkins; his wife Barbara Ireland; his children, Melony Cooper of Topeka, Monica Smith (Corey) of Berryton, Marcella Vasquez (Jenny) of Meriden and Aron Watkins (Kathy) of Allen; his brothers, Jay Watkins of Denver and Gilbert Watkins of Scotts Bluff, Neb.; his grandchildren, Ethan Cooper (Skylor), Criquet Stout (Doug), Corbin Watkins (Candice), Wyatt Peters, Faith Smith, Isabelle Kokesh (Austin), Zane Smith, Remington Peters and Olivia Vasquez; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Cooper, Banks Kokesh and Hila.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Crosspoint Topeka (5440 SW 37th St, Topeka, KS 66614).
