She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Chezem and Virginia Chezem (Finley). She is survived by: her husband Jerald Brown; her children, Douglas Nyman of Newton and Lori Mercer of Emporia; and her brother Steven Chezem of Kansas City. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Overbrook Bible Church (719 Western Heights Dr, Overbrook, KS 66524). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
