He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Silva Charay; and his brother Richard Charay. He is survived by: his mother Augustina "Helen" Charay (Gomez) of Topeka; his sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Charay of Topeka, Mary Perez (Mark) of Topeka and Rachael Charay of Topeka; his siblings' children, Andrew Torrez, Marissa Perez and Mariah Moore (Marcus); and his great-nephews, Julian, Tristan and Tyson Torrez.
