She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smith, Sherrill Crith, Michael Nolting and Dayrel Johnson; and her sisters, Iona Blount and Shernice Walker-Herring. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
A wake was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel (723 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
