She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kaiser and Dora Kaiser; her son Monte; and her sister Margaret (John). She is survived by: her siblings, Donald and Vera; her husband John H. McFarland; her children, Karen of Prairie Village, Kansas, Brenda (Robert Gladfelter) of Topeka and Kevin McFarland of Overland Park, Kansas; and her grandson Matthew Gladfelter (Nathan Gladfelter) of Sunnyvale.
