He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Schley and Belva Schley (Kelley); his wife Evelyn Schley; his siblings, Dorothy Schley, Norman Schley and Paul Schley; and his significant other Evelyn Leone Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Schley (Jane), Gary Schley (Donna), Sandra Swygert (Mike), Donna Townsend (Tim), Irene Mayer (Brad) and Stan Schley (Rhonda); and his siblings, Jimmy Schley, Kenneth Schley and Dolores Wilson. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; two great- great grandchild.
In his honor, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in McFarland.
