The memory of Betty Hoppes of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schroder and Margaret Schroder (Miller); her husband William Hoppes (Willie); and her siblings, Clifford, Maxine, Lois, Leila and Barbara.
She is survived by: her brothers, Ivan Schroder of Hannibal and Marvin Schroder (Jackie) of Cornwall, Pennsylvania; and her stepchildren, William Hoppes of Holton and Cherrie Hoppes (Bob Garcia) of Meade, Kansas. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great-great nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Topeka, Kansas.
