She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine Luellen Merritt and Edward V. Merritt; her brother Kenneth E. Merritt; her son-in-law Marvin G. Burget; her grandson Brandon E. Bumgarner; and her great grandchild Lucas V. Bumgarner.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry E. Bumgarner of Year's Eve; her children, Melanie M. Bumgarner and Jeremy E. Bumgarner (Jennifer R.); and her grandsons, Cody J. Bumgarner of Topeka and Jonas V. Bumgarner of Topeka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker-Price and Davidson (1035 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
