He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hurst Coffman and Geraldine Crawford; his grandparents, Homer, Hazel Crawford, Clyde Wilson and Minerva Bragg Coffman; his parents-in-law, Vernon and Geraldine Moore; his brother-in-law Leland Moore; and his son-in-law Dr. Michael Stephenson.
He is survived by: his pet Bruce; his wife Sandra; his children, Heather Ozlislo (Stephen), Bruce Chae Coffman (Vidria), Geraldine Miller (Chad), Soraiya, Ashleigh, Adrian (Jon), Paige Alexis, Amelia, Nyalla and Aemon; his siblings, Hurst Coffman, Martha Curtis (Patrick) and Geraldine Coffman; and his nephew Brendan Gallagher. He is also survived by many many friends and relatives and ten furry companions.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, August 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church (204 Madore St, Silver Lake, KS 66539). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church, Wounded War Project or to Topeka/Shawnee County Helping Hands Humane Society.
