Carmen G. Guthrie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmen G. Guthrie of Topeka, Kansas, born in Brownsville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esparanza "Hope" Castro and Roman Fernandez; her husband Delbert Guthrie; her children, Misty Ann Harral, Daniel Gomez, David Gomez, Christopher Gomez and Pedro Gomez; and her sister Grace Villalobos.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Harral of Raytown, Stacy Thowe (Glen) of Topeka and Tina Harral of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions should be made directly to KVC Kansas which provides foster care and adoption services, or the Topeka Rescue Mission.
