She is survived by: her daughter Mary; her son-in-law David; her daughter Michelle; her son-in-law Kevin; her grandchildren, Nicole Fernandez (Moss) and Ashley Moss; her great grandchild Jasmine Fernandez; her sister Mary "Dee Dee" Hesse; and her pet Toby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Kitty would be grateful and humbled by any gifts made to the National Shrine of St Jude Claretian Missionaries, the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society or the Topeka LULAC Senior Center.
