He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Manthe and Ora Manthe (Rice). He is survived by: his sons, Charles A. Manthe III (Danny Salgado) of California and Clay D. Manthe (Christina) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Caraela Miller (Adam) of Topeka, Cameron Manthe (Paula) of Topeka, Caitlynn Manthe of Topeka and Calvin Manthe of Topeka; his great grandchild Lawson Miller; his siblings, Diane Potter, Charlotte Tenfelde, Janice Grabeal, David Manthe and Debbie Bozarth; and his pet Chi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Auburn Civic Center (1020 N Washington St, Auburn, KS 66402).
