He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Richard and Golda Alice Parnell (Bales); his siblings, Loraine Evelyn Morrison-Lindeen and Nicholas Galen Parnell; his grandson Holden Hurla; and his nephews, Gary Parnell and Terry Andrick.
He is survived by: his sister Isla Rose Andrick of Rossville; his children, Randy Parnell (Sharon) of Topeka, Belinda Morris (Steve) of Rossville and Angie Hurla (Chris) of Delia; his grandchildren, Bailey Wehner (Jacob), Devin Morris (Sydney), Jared Morris (Heidi), Layne, Colby (Aloera) and Kendra Hurla; and his stepgrandchildren, Joel Campbell and Kortney Martinez (Xavier). He is also survived by five great-granchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Charles' memory may be made to either the Capper Foundation or to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
