He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. VanHorn and Anna M. VanHorn (Smart). He is survived by: his stepsons, Patrick Johnson of Topeka and Nicholas Johnson of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Cadence, Paxton, Porter, Ava and Paisley.
