She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Francis and Viola Mae Jasman (Badgero); her husband Paul E. Hughes; and her siblings, Opaljean D. "Opie" Hughes of Topeka, Paul E. "PJ" Hughes, Jr. of Topeka, Stephanie A. Hughes of Topeka and Shayla M. Hughes of Topeka.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marilyn Johnson of Arizona and Sandra Pitchford of Tennessee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
