She was predeceased by: her mother Louise Adele Schoenfeld; her stepmother Mary Jane Fleenor; her father Jacob Claude Fleenor; her grandmother Francis Schoenfeld; her brother John Fleenor; and her son Eric Brian Smith.
She is survived by: her son Aaron Smith (Stella); her sisters, Tamela Mayes (Scott) and Rebecca Ann Weber (Steve); and her grandchildren, Eric and Anna Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Parish (312 NE Freeman Ave, Topeka, KS 66616). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604).
