He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy L. Rust and Blanche B. Rust (Bush); his spouse Jerilynn Johansen; his granddaughter Amanda Olinger; his son-in-law Richard Bruner; and his brother Tony Rust.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Bruner and Melissa Weaverling (Kurt); his grandchildren, Josh Bruner and Savanah Weaverling (Brandon McPhail); his brother Ted Rust (Jan); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Rust.
